Bridgeport In The Know

How To Get A City Park Sticker

Here is information on how Bridgeport residents can obtain an annual park car sticker pass and non-residents can obtain day passes for Seaside Park, Beardsley Park and St. Mary's-By-The-Sea.

Unfortunately the City does not publicize how to do this. Considering our poor city could use all the income it can get, you would think they would get the word out on this.

You can purchase a car sticker permit to park in Bridgeport parks at three different locations:

City Hall, Lyons Terrace, Room 223, Mon-Fri., 9 am-5pm
Bridgeport Park Office, 7 Trumbull Rd, Trumbull,
    near intersection of Rt. 25 & Rt. 8, Mon.-Fri. 9 am-5 pm.
Park checkpoint booths, when open

You need to bring your car registration for a seasonal window sticker which is valid from Jan 2 - Dec. 31, but is only really needed Memorial Day to Labor Day.

All parking lots are available to any season or day pass holder regardless of residency. All cabanas, concessions and showers are open to all park users regardless of residency. Do not park in a No Parking Zone, or you may get a ticket.

The checkpoint booths in the parks will be staffed 7 days a week starting in mid-June
