What IS Listed Here

Events listed here are all located in Bridgeport. Exceptions may be an event in another town sponsored by a Bridgeport group.  

Listed on the calendar you will mainly find events from non-profit Bridgeport places such as the Bridgeport Library, the Jewish Community Center, Housatonic Community College, Bridgeport Hospital, and many others. These events are not easily found anywhere else, and are listed here as a service to our readers and the community.

You will also find listed here special events sponsored by the City of Bridgeport such as such as parades, hazardous Waste Days, etc.   

What Is NOT Listed Here 

Events here from the five major entertainment venues in town (Arena at Harbor Yard, Playhouse on the Green, the Arena at Harbor Yard, Klein Memorial Auditorium, Downtown Cabaret Theater) are not listed here.  Neither are events and exhibits from the major art galleries or museums.

Club music group performance dates are also not listed here.  You can easily find the web site listings for Bridgeport’s many clubs and bars by clicking here.

Place your mouse curser over the event on the calendar and a yellow box with a full description the event will pop up. Click on the event and a full listing of the year’s events in white will appear on your upper screen.
